Senior Accountant role responsible for all accounting and financial transactions. Should have a thorough knowledge of Indian GAAP, GST and Tax.
Responsibilities
Your Impact:
1 Month End Reporting – Local Books
- Responsible for month journal entries and close process for Local Books
- Responsible for FAM Register for Local Books
- Preparation of IS and BS Comparative Analysis at Local Books level
2 Managing AP Process and TDS Compliance
- Creation of Purchase Orders in line with LOE
- Booking of invoices
- Processing payment on a periodic basis
- Enduring AP GL ties up with Open bills and reconciliation for month end close
- Deduction of TDS as per standard rates
- Sending TDS data to consultant for verification
- Ensuring payment of TDS before the due date
- Maintaining the APInternational mailbox for SW India
3 GST Compliance
- Sending out the Input invoices to consultant on a monthly basis
- Sending the Cost Plus invoice
- Reconciliation of books with the returns to ensure all credits are captured
- Ensuring GL matches with the Returns and maintaining the rec for month end
4 Payroll support
- Co-ordinating with employees to collect support documents for tax saving as per timelines
- Ensuring distribution of Form 16 to employees once in a year
5 SW India – Point of Contact
- Managing the common mail id for India and ensuring important mails are sent to concerned people
6 G&A – Administrative Role
- Being the Facilities coordinator and point of contact for Bangalore office
- Being the Finance representative in the Bangalore office and manage any sudden inspections / audits/ Visit by Government officials like GST, PF, ESI etc.
- Petty Cash holding if required.
- Forex arrangement when employees start travelling
- Travel co-ordination with travel agency / portal
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant / Post Graduation in Commerce
- Minimum of 6 years of professional work experience in Finance and Accounting
- Preference for exposure to MNC culture
- Awareness of the statutory rules and due dates to ensure payments on time
- Passion for SolarWinds’s mission, vision, values, and culture.
- Hands on knowledge of MS office – Outlook, Excel, Word, Power-point
