Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Provide financial analysis and support to the Finance Business Partner for Global Procurement. This is an integral vertical of finance function of Procurement and the Global Supply organization. As a financial analyst, you will work across the finance function and the procurement function to assist us in running a very efficient and effective procurement organization.
The analyst will have responsibility of regular on going reporting as it relates to monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting with dedicated month end activities. The scope will include Purchase Price Variance PPV reporting & analysis, 3d Party spend reporting and analysis, annual standard’s roll on product code level, tracking of the Procurement savings projects, supporting PPV Forecast and Budget process, cost centres reporting, Ariba reporting and consolidation of Procurement reporting data. Ad hoc reporting to assist with special projects and to identify potential improvement opportunities will be a key part of bringing value to the company in role.
Exposure to all levels of management will make this job meaningful and complicated. In addition, this position will assist with ensuring that we have effective internal controls and reliable data management systems to support business decision-making.
A self-starter with outstanding system knowledge and skills complemented by impressive interpersonal skills will help to be successful in role. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience: 2 to 4 years of good record in corporate finance and accounting setting with shown capabilities around financial analysis, eye for business. Manufacturing experience a plus as is global experience.
Competences: Interpersonal skills, Financial and eye for business, Strong analytical skills, self starter, Organizational agility, comfort around senior management. Experience with SAP and Hyperion along with strong Microsoft office skills and good database knowledge, skills with Microsoft Excel.
