– to act as a “finance partner” in order to standardize the various accounting processes in the function
– to study and make practical recommendation for standardization process improvements across factories and Head Office
– to work with backend and front end processes impacting financial organization and recommend study to drive efficiency
– implementation of the recommendations in a time frame manner with significant amount of cross functional liasoning and persuasion
Job Description
As Finance Excellence Manager following you are responsible for:
In Depth understanding and detailed mapping of “As Is” processes at every location covering the following
- GRN to Invoice Booking to Payment
- Accounts Receivable Cycle
- General Ledger Accounting including Chart of Accounts and Cost Centre Structure
- Any other related process like Fixed Asset accounting, Inventory Valuation etc.
- Setting up the processes in line with SAP implementation readiness assessment
Making Recommendations and Implementation whilst ensuring stronger controls
- Reviewing process and adapting to changing business environment
- Aligning the recommendations with stakeholders
- Implementing the recommendations
Project Management
- Managing adhoc projects as per the need of the business to drive process optimization and longer term cost savings
- Synchronizing the inputs from various Finance leads for effecting changes in Coordinating the efforts of various Implementing Controls checklists in line with Group guidelines
- Continuously reviewing processes in line with the changing business needs
