Job Title : Senior Executive, Finance
Competencies and Responsibilities:
Ability to understand the direct cost structure in a Fintech environment. Understand, obtain direct cost inputs from the FinOps team – summarize, account for direct costs by gateway on a monthly basis. Perform reconciliations between accounted costs and invoices received for the same. Perform analysis on direct costs and ascertain possible avenues for optimization of costs and work closely with the banking teams in driving negotiations for cost reduction. Handle complete payments and controls of direct cost invoices by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Update trackers for direct cost on a real-time basis and ensuring accuracy of records so accounted at all points in time. Should be adept at summarizing data points and balances required for perfoming GMV accounting Support audit related queries. Should be able to handle the month end activities within the timelines prescribed.
Qualification Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus Previous experience in Fintech is a must Ability to use Microsoft productivity software such as Excel Effective communication skills Ability to deliver under pressure situations.
COMPETENCIES DEEPDIVE
Responsible for TDR analysis on the basis of which merchant TDR and Bank TDR will be rectified
in case of loss merchants.
II. Responsible for raising TDR related issues with Banking and compliance team.
III. Ensuring that Net-banking Terminals have updated commercials well before month end closures
IV. Responsible for finalization of cost calculations for all live Net banking’s and PG gateways.
V. Preparation of monthly commission share for all respective banks as per the agreed rates
(Revenue sharing %) on the basis of categories specified at the time of agreement and ensuring
that such details shared with individual banks per agreed timelines.
VI. Overseeing Partner and aggregator commissions
VII. Responsible for Reseller cost and bank lead cost payable.
VIII. Maintaining Bank agreements & Bank Revenue sharing records for all respective banks.
IX. Responsible for reconciliation of Bank accounts – corporate A/c’s and Nodal Account.
X. Maintaining Bank agreements & Bank Revenue sharing records for all respective banks.
XI. Ensuring that all payments are made to suppliers within the stipulated time frame and managing
accounts payable within the pre-set parameters.
XII. Building an understanding and preparation of SOP’s for Direct Cost Recognitions and Accounting.
XIII. Building analysis framework around BIN sponsorship models with cost identification
mechanisms
XIV. Understanding and summarizing Chargeback related exposures and following up with the
relevant internal stakeholders to followup on collections from banks / recoveries from
merchants.
