The Sr. Financial Analyst will be part of PayPal’s FP&A team supporting the CIO organization.
Job Description:
As a member of PayPal’s Financial Planning and Analysis team based in Bangalore, this position will play a key role in providing financial leadership, analytical support, and counsel to partners and stakeholders. This role will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Business Operations leaders and their teams to develop an in-depth knowledge of key value drivers and strategic priorities. Applying their insight and analytical skills, the individual will help deliver value for customers and the company through financial partnership. The ideal candidate will have solid problem-solving and financial modeling skills, be intellectually curious with a knack for connecting the dots, and a proven track record of delivering sound finance support and business partnership.
In this role, the individual will be involved in budgeting, forecasting, month end close, variance analysis and reporting related to operating expenses, capital expenditure and headcount, as well as guiding the business through various finance-related tasks. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide business insight and guide them towards sound financial decisions.

Qualifications
3-5 years Financial Planning & Analysis experience in a medium/large company environment.
Education: Chartered Accountant, MBA or equivalent
