Job Description
- Setup projects in time tracking systems, including establishing revenue recognition rules
- Prepare journal entries based on the review of supporting reconciliations and schedules
- Assist in the detailed review of transactions to ensure proper billing and accounting for the order to cash area
- Generate and review invoices, communicate with external customers, and resolve customer queries on invoices
- Communicate in a timely manner with internal employees and external vendors regarding status of their payments
- Develop strong relationships with both internal and external customers (i.e. within the Finance department, other departments and vendors)
- Perform account reconciliations and post payments
- Various month-end duties, including detailed account analysis and adjustments
- Support audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility
- Assist with the ongoing development of AP processes
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Finance, or the equivalent (completed or in progress)
- 2-4 years of progressive financial analysis experience in high growth accounting environments
- Ability to work on mixed shift (US hours + Regular hours)
- Ability to work full time (40h per week)
- Excellent English skills
- Experience with Oracle and/or Netsuite or other financial accounting systems
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly accurate, great attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving
- Ability to work both independently and as a cooperative team member
- Ability to organize and balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and proactive approach to work
