About the Role
As Assistant Manager – Revenue Assurance, you’ll give strategic direction to the revenue and receivables charter from the Finance team. On a typical day, you’ll solve finance-related issues with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
You’ll be working with a team of finance rockstars who are obsessed with delivering best in class experience to all our stakeholders. You’ll also drive automation to improve workflow efficiencies leading to enhanced accuracy.
What You Will Do
- Ensure timely closure of activities related to revenue recognition with utmost accuracy
- Improve revenues and profitability through minimisation of leakage
- Drive improvements and develop automation of daily/monthly standard tasks in revenue (accounting) processes and workflows
- Perform data analysis using tools such as SQL
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure variations are addressed at the root cause level
- Manage end-to-end revenue accounting
- Prepare KPIs, variance analysis and highlight deviations, if any
- Coordination with the statutory and internal auditors to ensure timely completion of audit
What You Will Need
- Certification as a Chartered Accountant with 0-2 year of experience
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets
- Ability to understand and effectively apply technical accounting guidance for Revenue Recognition
- Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
- Articleship from Big 5’s is preferable with Experience in E-Commerce/Big 4 will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and management skillsWillingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
