Macquarie Group Limited is Hiring CA Fresher/ MBA(F) As Senior Associate – Financial Management Group At Gurgaon Full Time

To be successful in this role, you will have a postgraduate accounting qualification (CA – July 2021 only) with 0-1 year of relevant post qualification experience or an MBA (Finance) or similar with 2-4 years of experience in financial accounting and statutory reporting. You’ll have an understanding of accounting standards and fundamental accounting concepts. You’ll also have a strong sense of accountability, willingness to continually learn, ability to work in a virtual global team, effectively build relationships and understand your stakeholder’s needs.

You’’ll have relevant experience in any two of the below points:

• CA internship (articleship) experience preferably in Statutory Audit or Internal Audit function.
• Financial accounting and reporting which may or may not include analysis and commentary on the financial position and performance of the entities, businesses or group.
• Month end close (including journal entries) like revenue booking, expense accounting, cash and suspense clearing, Transfer Pricing accounting, inter-co breaks clearing, reconciliation and attestation of balance sheet items.
• Investment accounting like: Accounting for associates, JVs, subsidiary consolidation and deconsolidation, etc.
• Monthly or periodic reporting related to: Income statement analysis, Balance Sheet analysis, key revenue or expense drivers, Debtors ageing, etc.
• Statutory reporting experience: Monthly or quarterly or annual preparation of income statement, balance sheet and other financial statement notes including variance analysis and commentaries for legal entities.
• Liaise with external auditors for effective management of audit deliverables within timeframes, as well as the integrity and completeness of financial records and ensuring compliance with finance control standards.
• Focus and inquisitiveness to improve processes; enhance efficiencies, add value, undertake and deliver projects, improvement initiatives and standardization approaches.

Exposure to IFRS accounting environment would be an added advantage. Experience in similar or relevant financial services and service industry environment would also be preferred.
