We have an exciting opportunity for an audit professional to join our Gurugram Internal Audit team as an assistant manager. The role will provide exposure to Macquarie’s Asset Management and Macquarie Capital businesses.
As an experienced internal auditor, you will be responsible for assessing the design and operating effectiveness of controls used to provide independent recommendations to the board and senior management. You’ll be involved in planning and establishing audit objectives, the delivery and reporting of audits as well as ensuring the adequate remediation of any open internal audit issues.
To be successful and thrive in this role, you’ll have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. You’ll have a CA, CPA, or MBA qualification as well as 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in audit or risk management, preferably in a financial services institution. You’ll have proven technical and analytical skills, backed by attention to detail and sound judgement, and an ability to identify operational risk issues with material significance. You’ll be a team player who is motivated and have a passion for developing others and enabling a team to reach their full potential.
Whilst the role is based in Gurugram, you would be joining an internal audit team that is represented globally, travel may be required according to business needs.
