We are seeking a talented executive to work within tax reporting in our Financial Management Group. You will take ownership and responsibility, and ensure assigned deliverables are met, on time and at an exceptional level of quality. You will be required to demonstrate flexibility to manage existing workloads to enable the seamless migration of new processes and manage the risks that rapid change and growth give rise to.
In this role, you will work on month end tax accounting and reporting for the EMEA region. You will work closely with LEC in preparation of stat notes for EMEA business groups. You will be responsible for the preparation of income tax calculations / preparation of corporate tax returns for various Macquarie Group businesses in the EMEA region, and also complete tax related balance sheet reconciliations. You will also ensure timely tax payments to authorities and provide ETR reconciliation as per request from stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will have a professional accountancy qualification – CA with minimum 2 to 4 years of experience post-qualification or MBA-Finance with 4-7 years of professional experience.You’ll have prior experience in tax accounting and compliance, and also willingness to work flexibly and rostered shifts.
