Job Summary:

Responsible for closure of books on a monthly basis as per company accounting policies with focus on accuracy and timeliness. Has an eye for detail and continuous focus on innovation and process improvements. Perform account reconciliations, prepare / review journal entries, financial statements including disclosures. Strong accounting knowledge and ability to understand financial statements is needed.

Responsibilities:

• She/he is responsible for completeness, accuracy and timeliness of preparation about the general ledger, inventory, fixed assets, intercompany accounts, treasury transactions and bank reconciliations as well as for the associated reporting requirements.
• He/she is responsible for accounts’ analysis and supports senior colleagues in carrying out responsibilities of the accounting department, resolving accounting queries, and cooperating with auditors.
• Review reports and reconciliations prepared by team members / prepares reconciliation on own to ensure outputs are accurate and long-outstanding items are properly followed-up
• He/she follows and develops Playbook/ SOPs and updates the sme whenever required and actively seeks for improvements.
• Manage the relationship with key stakeholders including, but not limited to Controllers, FP&A, Global Tax, Corporate Audit and other functions identifying opportunities for collaboration and ensuring improvements are actively sought and implemented.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant
• Hands on Person who can also guide the team
• Independent thinking with keen problem solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multiple work plans.
• High organization and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
