The GE Onshore Wind International FP&A Income Statement Senior Finance Manager will be an integral part of the GE Onshore Wind International FP&A and Commercial Finance team.

Reporting to the business FP&A and Commercial Finance Leader, the selected candidate will lead the Income Statement analysis, reporting, planning, forecasting, and closing processes.

The candidate will also be expected to enable the business operating profit improvement efforts through partnering with the different operating teams and their finance partners to analyze sales and expense drivers and underlying levers to improve operating profit.

Job Description

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

• Lead the business operating profit management efforts with the goal of improving business margins. Planning and reporting on performance for sales, GM, FPC/SG&A and other income

• Partner with the business team (Supply Chain, PMO, Engineering…etc) teams to identify and drive actions to improve the business operating profit margins, build forecasts and explain actual performance

• Regular update of forecasts throughout the business QMI/Planning cycles and monthly operating reviews to identify risks & opportunities and update the estimates communicated to business leadership team

• Accountability for the income statement closing process, including understanding business drivers, variance to forecasts, and aligning with finance team on corrections needed, reconciliations and daily pulsing process

• Ensure maintenance and enhancements of financial tools including Hyperion, chart of accounts, QMI system, etc. for the adequate running of financial operations

• Owns overall income and expense metrics in conjunction with the functional teams including CM%, Deflation, Price changes and structural cost metrics. Ensure accuracy of cost of sales splits and expense reporting.

• Execution of simplification and process improvement projects

• Leads presentation to business SLT and HQ for updates around actuals, pacing and planning

• Drive key initiatives to improve margins and optimize structural cost.

• Lead income statement bundle, IR preparation, and OP profit walks reporting.

Required Qualifications:

1.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

2.Previous FP&A experience

3. 10 years+ of experience in progressive finance roles

4.Strong Excel skills to enable financial planning and analysis

5.Ability to work effectively with operation teams to drive results and enable growth

6. Must have strong working knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Uniform, FDL and Hyperion.

7. CAS/FMP graduate preferred

Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations.
