Job Description – Finance Contract resources

The resources may be placed under any of the below Finance team.

AP Team:

As part of the AP processing team, perform financial activities within the following scope:

• Receive scanned invoices and run interfaces into SAP
• Route invoices to the appropriate manager for approval
• Drive the process including monitoring the status of invoices.(invoices not received, invoices awaiting approval, credit notes to receive)
• Provide information on supplier accounts
• Coordinate completeness in suppliers request forms and create suppliers in the master file.
• Follow up and control GR/IR balances
• Timely logging of vendor issues in the application and work towards a resolution

GL Team:

As part of the GL team, the role will be supporting the Manager and Team lead Accounting Team on day to day activities of all the GL processes such as Month close, Payroll, Local Statutory reporting and compliances, Secretarial, Tax and Regulatory compliances and Treasury process.

• A regular accounting of journal entries of APAC entities
• Prepare and post journals on various finance cost accruals on a monthly basis
• Preparation of various recons for review by manager
• Process the remittance of all payroll statutory dues within the due date
• Assist in audit requirement

Revenue Team:

• Prepare Revenue acceleration report on a weekly basis.
• Prepare all revenue reconciliation and schedules on monthly basis.
• Prepare flux analysis for revenue-related items on monthly basis.
• Review regularly unbilled and deferred revenue schedules for correct revenue recognition
• Prepare journals entries and maintain account reconciliations consistent with GAAP and corporate accounting policies to ensure close timelines are met.
• Prepare and maintain reports/schedules for senior management, prepare schedules requested by internal and external auditors.

Technical Skills:

SAP GL experience (Preferred)

Non-Technical Skills:

1. Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
2. Ability to work with multiple teams

Qualification and Experience:

Graduate / Postgraduate in accounting with 0 – 1 year experience
