Role Description – Summary:
The incumbent will be expected to support various reports and submissions pertaining to topics including financial resources, treasury, ALM and interest rates. The candidate will be responsible for the production of the ALM reporting and preparatory calculations which are aligned to the existing process environment as well as backfill for existing tasks regarding analyses and deep dives of findings.The candidate will need to work closely with both Financial Resources Management and Balance Sheet Performance, the two sub-teams within SBSM.

Your key responsibilities
Key Responsibilities / Tasks:
The role focuses on topics around periodic (monthly/quarterly/yearly) reporting as well as analytics support on various topics mentioned within the job summary section above and includes, but does not limit the responsibilities to following tasks:
- Support balance sheet and capital steering for the Private Bank in close cooperation with Group Treasury (Group Capital Management)
- Prepare analysis for balance sheet and capital related KPIs, e.g. RWA / TCD, incl. impacts on the revenue path for the various business units / products
- Prepare ad-hoc presentation to support PB’s management to steer balance sheet and financial resources
- Ensure that all processes are correctly and thoroughly documented (SOPs etc.), incl. documentation and/ or modification of existing programs and codes, esp. SAS and VBA macros, and have been agreed and aligned with onshore
- Ensure operational efficiency and high productivity: continuous review of processes with the objective of improving the service delivery timeframes and identify areas of improvement, drive changes
- Contribute to the development of a control framework that defines data quality validation & controls, execute based on this control framework
- Establish and maintain effective relationship with onshore stakeholders and identify areas of service improvements by implementing regular calls and feedback mechanism
- User Acceptance testing for newly developed functionalities
Your skills and experience
- FRM / Finance MBA (Full time from premier institute) / Chartered Accountant / ACCA
- Expert level MS Office knowledge (mainly Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of VBA / Macros will be added advantage
- Experience of working in a global environment and with multiple time-zones preferable
Good communication, fluency in English, assertiveness, high EQ and some negotiating skills
Preferences:
- 3-5 years of prior working experience in regulatory reporting in a global banking / insurance organization.
