Decimal Point Analytics is Hiring CA/CPA/ ACCA As Accountant / Senior Accountant At Mumbai Full Time

Roles and Responsibilities

•Analyze and prepare monthly journal entries for recurring expenses, accruals and deferrals, investment activity, allocated expenses, and/or other adjusting entries.

•Maintain documented accounting procedures and internal controls.

•Assist with annual financial audit, including ongoing maintenance of subsidiary general ledger schedules and compilation of supporting documentation.

•Assist with annual budget preparation, and ongoing forecasting. Produce program budgets as needed for contracts or grants.

•Produce monthly budget variance reports for distribution to program managers and directors.

•Ability to appraise and provide constructive technical feedback to subordinates.

•Assist as/if required in the implementation of IFRS 17 standard for the comparative and 2023 financials.

Desired Candidate Profile

•Require a professionally qualified accountant from any of the reputed institutes such as ICAI, ACCA or CPA equivalent.

•Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in a finance/Audit role in General Insurance Industry.

•Other qualifications attained relating to insurance (CII/III) may serve as a beneficial point.

•Excellent Verbal and written communication skills in order to be able to get the Employee’s point across to senior management and subordinates of the company.

•Good base and proficiency in excel (such as Vlookups and pivot tables) and ability to navigate through finance portal databases.

•Strong familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and International financial reporting standards (IFRS).

•Ability to work well as part of a team or independently with minimal supervision.

•Ability to delegate tasks in a clear and unambiguous manner to subordinates.

•Must be able to work comfortably and effectively with a diverse group of staff members.
