Your responsibilities include:
• The roles entail providing centralized first line oversight of the policy frameworks owned by MON, monitoring compliance of various functions within & outside Group Operations with key policy requirements, preparing, reporting and chairing required governance meetings
• The role is also expected to develop & implement an independent & centralized risk oversight function wherein all administrative, testing & monitoring support is provided across all SOX, Audit and other risk & control commitments for MON functions
• The role is located in Pune, India alongside Global Reconciliation Control Services (GRCS), Account Lifecycle Management (ALM) & Payment Clearing & Settlement Providers and Location (PCS) functions
• Develop Metrics and controls that monitor compliance with key policy requirements using data from MON controlled systems (ACCLAIM, PCS Pro, Intellimatch / CTC)
• Investigate warning indicators, escalation to responsible first line owners & monitoring of resolution
• Reporting & chairing governance committee(s) as required & provide output for use of second line oversight functions
• Centralize further controls tasks (ex SOX testing, MON GLAO / Balance Sheet Substantiation) so as to segregate duties from line production
You will be part Market-Facing Operations and Network (MON), a function embedded within Group Operations that performs several key functions within the bank, including monitoring Credit Suisse Group cash and custody agent bank accounts, and agent bank & CSD costs and quality of service. It also provides reconciliations services to ensure data integrity and completeness of account management, Trade FOBO, Portfolio and Intra Group Reconciliations. It covers transactional expenses such as Brokerage, Clearing, Exchange, Agent Bank and Regulatory fees, along with provision of valuable services to Front Office, Finance and Operations by driving efficiency and demand management related savings initiatives, reporting and accounting control, and adopting technologies that enable outstanding data clarity and analysis.
