At Contis we believe that Finance and Accounts departments are one of the important service providers to their internal as well as external customers. We are looking for a Senior Accounts Executive to Assist our Manager Accounts in the F&A.

A quick learner and ready take ownership with a degree of accuracy. Independently ready to take responsibility Viz. Booking keeping, Branch accounts, Asset Accounting, Payroll and Assist in 3^rd party Audit.

Responsibilities & Duties : 

• • Cash and Petty Cash handling. Verification of Physical v/s Book (cash) along with Bank reconciliation at the end of the day.
  • Book-keeping and record maintenance, preserving hard copy of all the voucher, Bills , Invoices, and other documents along with supporting for future reference and AUDIT as per IT ACT.
  • Real time accounting entries in systems , as instructed by the Accounts Manager.
  • Preparation of Bank reconciliation statement at the end of the month.
  • Process Payment of all – service providers, Utility bills and/or other suppliers as per agreed payments (PO) and/or before due date and insure uninterrupted supply of goods and services.
  • Ensure deduction of Taxes at Sources, PF, ESI, Professional Tax etc. and ensure to deposit the same with government authority on or before due date.
  • Collect and preserve documents related to Employee’s Income Tax declaration and related supporting, proof of Investment submitted to Accounts department. Checking of the declaration form received from Employee in line with Investment Proofs, expenses Bills provided to claim deduction/ exemption under IT, from Salary Income.
  • Prepare Monthly / Quarterly / Half Yearly / Annually TDS & GST data for filing returns in a prescribed format.
  • Assets register maintenance.
  • Any other assignment assigned by the management.

Skills & Knowledge Required : 

• • Working Knowledge of Tally Prime ERP 9 or similar.
  • Must be a commerce post-graduate or equivalent.
  • Should have minimum 4-5 years’ experience in the field of Accounts & Finance.
  • Well-versed with basic computer Skills i.e., MS Office. ( Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiar with IND-AS and IFRS.
  • Well-versed with basic Indian Laws related to taxation e.g.IT / GST.
  • Understanding of Payroll process and PF/ ESIC/ Gratuity ACT.
