Leads teams and performs basic to highly complex revenue recognition, analyzes and records expenses, all Tax compliances and performs balance sheet reconciliations in coordination with business unit finance and project management functions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Project Revenue Recognition
Leads teams and performs basic to highly complex reviews, interpretations, and verifications of monthly client project revenues to ensure accuracy of financial information in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Inter-company billings and reconciliations
Expense Review and Analysis
Leads teams and performs analyses of the firm’s direct and indirect operating expenses, actual to budget cost variances, and cost trends of basic to high complexity to verify that revenues and expenses and related financial data is appropriately recorded in the general ledger.
Tax and India compliances
Direct tax, (TDS, Corporate Tax, incumbent will handle Income Tax Assessments, Appeal etc.,)
Indirect tax (incumbent will handle GST Refund, Rebate, Appeals etc.)
Handling SCRIP incentive claim, Compliance related to STPI
Statutory related to contractual staff
Liaising with Government department(s) for assessments, litigations, etc.
Reviews the work of junior staff and provides guidance on their task as necessary. Provides feedback on their performance.
Performs other duties as required.
CA or CA Intermediate
5+ Years of relevant experience post qualification.
Expert knowledge of accounting principles, India Tax compliances, Inter-company billings and reconciliations.
Expert knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Excel and other related Microsoft Office products.
Strong communication skills.
Amount of Travel Required
