What Finance and Accounting contribute to Cardinal Health

• Responsible for being objective and strategic financial partners, collaborative cross-functional effort to drive relevant, flexible, and efficient financial planning and analysis that supports our key business decisions.
• Responsible for maintaining the financial books and records and preparing financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field like B. Com, C.A (Inter), MBA or equivalent work experience.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• 4+ years of experience in the related field.
• Excellent English including spoken, comprehension and written skills.
• Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
• Proficient user of finance software like Tally.
• SAP experience preferred.

Accountabilities in this role: –

• Transition Finance and Accounting services from current service provider.

• Analyzes business trends; leads and aligns financial forecasts and long-range planning processes with our business leaders. Drives business value by providing financial and analytical counsel to facilitate decision-marking around strategic business initiatives.
• Collaborate with U.S. support functions including HR, Finance, accounting, purchasing, etc.
• Prepares monthly financial reporting including variance and financial statement analysis. Able to clearly communicate a cohesive and concise story around business drivers behind financial data and potential implications on future results.
• Assist with annual budget processes, incorporating business initiatives, economic trends, and operational effectiveness. Align budget to business strategies and gain alignment from business partners.
• Perform general bookkeeping, including monthly journal entries, reconciliation of bank statements, and creation of monthly invoices to the Cardinal Health U.S. entity.
• Manage expense accounting, including review of purchase orders, uploading payments on the bank site, and obtaining required approvals for payment.
