We are looking to hire a mature Accountant to support our growing organization and manage myriad accounting and financial processes. This person will be responsible for T&E processing, Accounting and reconciliation process operations located in Vadodara, India including:

Travel & Entertainment (T&E):

• Support and handle T&E processing; new joiners profile creation in SAP Concur (T&E system), process Automation Anywhere global employee’s business reimbursement claims with complete validation in adherence of Company’s global travel policy
• Handle employee queries with respect to claims processing, help in resolving employee related system issues
• Assist team lead to escalate issues with management; out of policy reimbursement claims, validation of Invoices/receipts submitted by the employees
• Process T&E journal entries booking, reclasses and accounting accruals for month/quarter and Year end General ledger closing
• Validate Travel management company reports related to hotels booking, Airfare charges, collection of hotel invoices for GST reporting
• Support T&E lead and Director Accounting with weekly and monthly reports distribution to various process stakeholders.
• Perform base data analysis for month end reporting for Director Accounting review
• Support accounting team on the implementation of new software to run global scalable accounting operations
• Assist team management to gather ‘BOTS’ requirements to automate routine transactions and various other systems initiatives especially in T&E process

Bank Reconciliations (BR):

• Prepare weekly and monthly volume bank reconciliations for India and USA bank accounts
• Must be familiar with End-to-End bank reconciliation process in adherence with SOX compliance and system reporting. Working experience in Blackline reconciliation tool is plus
• Interact and communicate open items to respective holders for faster resolution.
• Perform weekly reconciliation status update to Director Finance to ensure aged items must be escalated

This position reports to the Director Accounting, in Vadodara, India

Job Requirements:

This job requires the ability to work, adapt and evolve in a fast-paced environment, working under deadlines, and interacting with multiple contacts in different time zones. High sense of urgency, dedication, and the ability to get things done fast is critical for this role. Additional requirements are:

• Good communication skills to keep others informed of process progress and escalations
• Strong experience in T&E and Bank reconciliations
• Knowledge of TDS, GST and payroll related reporting
• Systems savvy with solid understanding of ERP and SaaS Accounting Systems and how to extract, organize and analyze data (Power Point, Advance Excel, etc.)
• Ability and experience of interacting with employees & various stake holders related to T&E and Bank reconciliation issues.
• Team player, self-motivated, ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Flexible to change assignments as priorities are shifting
• Keen eye to evaluate automation opportunities and identifying efficiency measures

Education and Experience:

• A minimum of 3-4 years of progressive experience in T&E process and bank reconciliations including, General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Prepaids, etc.
• Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounts (M. Com/B. Com)

• Strong experience in multiple General Accounting areas
