I) Accounting
Receipt & Checking of Domestic Material Invoice
Accounting the Domestic Material Invoice in ERP
Receipt & Checking of Domestic Service Invoice
Accounting the Domestic Service Invoice in ERP
Receipt & Checking of Bill of Entry, Import Invoice
Accounting Bill of Entry, Import Invoice
Preparation of Scrap Sales Invoice
Accounting the Sales Invoice into ERP
Bank payment and receipt accounting along with application
Ensuring accounting of taxes and records maintenance in compliance with statutory regulations and Indian and US GAAP.
Systematic and complete compliance of all FEMA and RBI requirements.
Providing information regarding transactions to RBI and Banks
Recovery of dues from customers – Follow-up with Customer Accounts dept.
II) Banking
Preparation of Cheque Deposit Slip & Dropping the Same into CITI Bank Box
Accounting of bank payments and receipts
III) Reimbursements
Extracting the Reimbursement Report from ERT Tool
Booking of Employee Reimbursements into ERP
Generation of Employee Ageing Summary
IV) Ageing Report
Preparation of Vendor Ageing Report
Sending the Vendor Ageing Report for Review
Preparation of Employee Ageing Report
Sending the Employee Ageing Report for Review
V) Statutory Compliances:
- Preparation of GST Returns and filing within due date.
- Preparation and filing of STPI return within due date
- Reconciling the figures in GST Summary with Ledger Accounts.
- Preparation of documents for GST audit and providing information required by the auditors and ensuring completion of audit within due date
- Prepare information and filing of Corporate Income Tax return.
- Prepare various details for income tax assessment / hearings.
- Ensuring that TDS related laws are fully and correctly complied with on a timely basis.
- Ensuring that all applicable laws regarding withholding tax are complied with.
V) Audit Support
Assisting the team in conduct of Statutory Audit, Internal Audit & GST Audit etc
Providing Samples as required by Auditors with respect to all areas of Transactions
VI) Documentation
Preparation of Foreign Remittance Documents for Import Payments
Strict Record Keeping of Purchase Invoices & Other Documents
VII) Any other work as may be required
Skills and Knowledge:
- STPI Regulations
- Basic accounting background with clear basic knowledge
- Indian GAAP & US GAAP – Working knowledge preferable
- Indian Income tax law – working knowledge
- GST – working knowledge
- ERP systems – Working knowledge
- Banking related regulations – Reasonable level
- Hands on experience in preparation of MIS
- Statutory and Internal Audit co-ordination.
